Shah-e-Hamdan Conference Bilawal

Hazrat Shah-e-Hamdan –ra is of course head of family of Hamdani Sadaat. I am not saying that this should be a source of arrogance for me or for any of the Hamdani Sadaat. All the things including where or to whom someone is born, is irrelevant for salvation in hereafter and must not be a source of arrogance. However, as we open our eyes in this world in a family and begin our journey of life, we should be more humble and in gratitude of Allah –swt as He has blessed us with great start.

Hazrat Shah-e-Hamdan –ra had many unique qualities. He had truly comprehensive understanding of Islam.

We initiated Shah-e-Hamdan Conference Bilawal to thank Allah –swt for his blessings; to strength the unity of Muslims and of our Hamdani family; to remind ourselves the purpose of our life in this world.

The main theme of Shah-e-Hamdan Conference Bilawal has always been unity and brotherhood among all Muslims. Unity and cooperation among Muslims is much more important than our mutual differences. Allah –swt made us Muslims and promised success in this world and salvation in hereafter to Muslims. We invite all Muslims and especially our Hamdani brothers and sisters to join us on the principle of:

“Help one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness

And piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression.”

We believe that all those are Muslims who are accepted as such by the World Muslim League of Mekka and are permitted to make Hajj. This means a Sunni or a Shia, Dewbandi or Bralevi, Moqalad or Ghair-Moqalad are all Muslims. We can keep our differences and still respect each other. Only educating and understanding can change the minds. We must cooperate and be united in all those matters in which we agree, and respect each other’s right to differ where we differ:

And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Qur'an), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren. The Quran 3(103)
